The name SAERK originates from Saerkland, the first Nordic merchants' term for the Middle East, which translates to "textile." Meet Bobby & Alireza
Our founder, Bobby Baktash, boasts extensive industry experience, having grown up in the family business and gaining invaluable knowledge in manufacturing and quality. His father, Alireza Baktash, has been a respected figure in the textile flooring industry for over 40 years. As one of the most renowned experts in Sweden, Alireza's passion and expertise have been instrumental in shaping SAERK's commitment to excellence. These core values are woven into SAERK's vision and are evident in every handcrafted rug we produce.
